The story of this application a bit curious. During a period of financial difficulty, I had the idea to create an online space where users could seamlessly share various links to their social media and contact information. The purpose of this space was to facilitate the promotion of products and services for these users. In this way, interested users could easily discover products and services in their location. However, despite the idea, I didn’t have a name for the application. That’s when a small stingless black bee, known in Brazil as Arapuá (scientific name Trigona Spinipes), landed on my hand. Immediately, I thought about the act of pollination that this bee contributes to nature. I envisioned that the application could indeed facilitate the ‘pollination’ of the businesses of people who advertise their products and services on it, thereby bearing fruit for these businesses. Hence, the idea of naming it ‘Polinize’ (a Portuguese word that alludes to pollination) emerged.

I believed that the brand ‘BlackBee’ would be a powerful name to symbolize a business that originated from this small yet challenging idea, persevering through various difficult moments until its completion, and today, it can be shared with you. BlackBee was born from a dream, and Polinize is its first fruit. Believe in your dreams, just as I believed in mine!
